Limited characters and weapons in Genshin Impact are obtained through Event Wishes (banners). This hub covers the live schedule, how each banner type works, the pity system, and a full character debut timeline by version so you can plan your Primogems.

Limited-time banner for a featured 5★ character (debut or rerun) plus rate-up 4★ characters.
Epitome Invocation
Weapon banner running alongside character banners, featuring the headliners’ signature weapons plus rate-up 4★ weapons.
Chronicled Wish
Regional archive re-run: a curated pool of past 5★ characters and weapons from a single nation.
Wanderlust Invocation
Always-available standard pool with a fixed 5★ roster.

Wanderlust Invocation (Standard)
Permanent pool. 5★ characters are limited to a fixed roster (e.g. Tighnari, Dehya, Keqing, Qiqi, Mona, Diluc, Jean, plus Traveler). 5★ weapons from a fixed list.

Character debut timeline (by version)
Every 5★ and 4★ character grouped by the version they first became available, per the official dataset (genshin-db v5.2.7). The dataset lags the live game (currently 7.0), so debuts from version 6.3 onward are not listed here yet. Rerun history is omitted — public sources conflict and much is leaked; verify reruns against official announcements.
